Chantal Banda is a Saskatoon mother of two and owner of Harmony Souls: Yoga & Products for Peaceful Living. Harmony Souls offers yoga for moms during three different stages of their lives.
It also offers a mom and baby yoga class on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. Mom and baby classes provide an opportunity to regain strength and flexibility, bond with your baby and meet other moms. Postnatal mom and baby yoga generally ends once babies become mobile.
It is offering two spring prenatal yoga classes: one on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and another on Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is designed to support a more comfortable, healthy pregnancy and to prepare for labour with special practices of movement, breathing and meditative techniques. (All Harmony Souls classes are currently held at Grace Westminster United Church at 505 10th Street East.)

“By connecting with new mothers at various stages of their mothering journeys, it is my sincere desire to help bring peace, love and happiness into their lives," Chantal said. "Be it from a great yoga stretch that gets to the source of muscles that are tight from holding a baby, or from a friendly smile and the possibility of connecting with another mom who is at the same place in life."
