On Sunday, the Family Literacy Advisory Group for Saskatoon will be hosting a Literacy Carnival for the whole family in celebration of ABC Canada's National Family Literacy Day.
This year's theme is "Sing for Literacy." There will be storytelling, face-painting, musical crafts, karaoke, guest musicians, Rock Band, a rap workshop, a family sing-a-long and much more. In other words, there will be plenty of fun things for little ones to take in and a lot of fun things to do for older kids and adults!
This free event will be held at the Frances Morrison Library on Jan. 24 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Of course, you can visit the library all day long if you like.
