 Singing with Sylvia for Christmas

You might have just returned from here if you or your loved ones were traveling this holiday season. However, you don't have to be travelling to enjoy a visit to the Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport.

Arrive early to pick up a friend, or make a special trip to the terminal building for a high-flying indoor adventure for you and your baby.
  1. You will need your stroller and a couple bucks for parking or the bus; a picnic lunch or snacks are optional.
  2. Take the bus or park in the front two rows of the airport public parking lot, which are reserved for short-term parking.
  3. Visit the airport Tim Horton's or Prairie Elevator restaurant or take out your packed lunch.
  4. Roll your baby to the back of the food court for a front-row view of airplanes, trucks and people.
  5. Take care of your own hunger before assisting others. Enjoy your meal while your baby ooos and gaahs over the moving machinery, then feed dear babe once the newness begins to wear off.  You may keep him or her in the stroller or use one of the available high chairs.
  6. Let your older baby out of the stroller to play with the interactive toddler playscape (pictured here), that is located in the public area near the domestic arrival doors.
  7. Other points of interest for your little one might be watching the bags go by on the conveyer belts and watching people appear through the automatic domestic arrival doors.
  8. For your own edification, stroll around the various cultural displays featured there throughout the year.
  9. On your way out, stop by the photobooth for a strip of pictures of you and your baby to commemorate the adventure.
