Dad's Organic Market ~ Epic Back-to-School Event!

Dad's Organic Market on 8th Street in Saskatoon held its Epic Back to School Event Sept. 1 -11. What a great event!  There were several specially priced items throughout the store that would please parents of any age or stage. 

To sweeten the event, Dad's gave away a number of great prizes:  an iPad, a couple iPods, two tickets to the Sept. 17 Saskatchewan Roughrider game, a Rider jersey, a Sony Reader, a Wii and a Wii Fit. On Sept. 11, between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., customers enjoyed free-range hot dogs, popcorn and a live radio remote. Dad's also hosted a hula-hoop contest with a $500 gift certificate for the longest attempt.

Dad's Organic Market has everything you expect from a grocery store . . . just a little healthier. It has a nice selection of “organic and natural” produce, meats, dairy, supplements and other groceries. Earth Bound Bakery, adjacent to Dad’s, provides artisan breads, soups, sandwiches and a few treats for dessert -- all of which contain local ingredients.  

Dad’s is a family-friendly shopping environment. It has an area set aside for its younger customers with books, toys and colouring books. Plus, where else in the city would you find organic produce piled high on a cool restored 1947 Ford truck?

Dad's is located on 8th Street beside Mano's Restaurant and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
